The Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Jennifer at her Crazy-For-Books book blog. The hop takes place every weekend and features a new topic or question for book bloggers to discuss or answer. It's a great way to meet other book bloggers and find new books to add to the 'to read' list! This week's question is courtesy of Veronica at Read Books Have Fun:
How/Where do you get your books? Do you buy them or go to the library? Is there a certain website you use like paperbackswap?
I get books any way I can! My main place of procurement is my local library. My library account number is the only account number I know by heart and I always have my own basket for all my holds. They know me there.
I also buy books, not often though. I usually buy them from Tattered Pages Used Books or The Book House of Stuyvesant Plaza, but sometimes I go to Borders when the coupons are too good to pass up. I buy lots of books from library book sales too, especially the brown bag sales.
Most of my new release reading material comes from NetGalley. It's easily one of my favorite bookish sites. The book selection is excellent and the turnaround time between requesting and receiving books is quite fast.
How about you? Where do you get your books?
