What a weekend this has turned out to be!
Yesterday, my friend and author Jason Letts sent me a link to a news article about Amanda Hocking, the self publishing success story that everyone keeps talking about. I've read quite a few articles about Amanda, and even talked about her success and linked to one article in my review of her book Switched. What made this latest article about Amanda stand out to Jason is that a quote from my review of Switched was used in the article! If you would like to check out the article, click here. How awesome is that? When I started Feeding My Book Addiction three months ago, I never would have imagined that one of my reviews would be quoted in an article carried by dozens of media outlets!
Then today, I logged in to Blogger to write some reviews and discovered that I have 100 followers! That's amazing! I am grateful to all of you who follow Feeding My Book Addiction. Thank you for reading and commenting on my posts. It means a lot to me. I'm also psyched to say that I've made many new friends through this blog and I hope to make many more.
Needless to say, it's been an exciting weekend for me and I wanted to share my good news with all of you!
