Oh, Zafon is a really good one! Is The Prince of Mist a new one coming out?
You are certainly right with Ian McEwan. i have his atonement on my shelf and would be picking it up soon. Thanks for sharing your list.
I saw Carlos Ruiz Zafon on another list so I'll definitely be checking him out. Also I thought Ian McEwan was pretty popular although I guess it's only because of Atonement. And Kazuo Ishiguro is popular as well, even more so now that Never Let Me Go is a movie. And everyone seems to have read Margaret Atwood but me, she's high on my TBR list now. Haven't heard of the others but I'll definitely be looking into them after reading your post! :)
Ooooh, definitely Ishiguro! His prose is so powerful. I have a major book crush on him. He's on my list too.
Great list, thanks! for sharing.
Thanks for all the great comments everyone!

Booknympho - Definitely check out Zafon. You will not be disappointed. Please stop back and tell me what you think of his books or any books by these authors. I'd love to hear what you think!
Birdie - Yay for Ishiguro!
Tribute Books Mama - Thanks!
Oh, Ishiguro! I feel like I could write for days about how wonderful he is, and I love running into other people who have read and enjoyed him too :)
I also like Atwood, and I'm looking forward to checking out Zafon sometime.
I love Atwood, Ishiguro and McEwan. I don't think people know quite how much Atwood has written.
